The Audley
The Audley is a traditional neighbourhood pub, located on the corner of South Audley Street and Mount Street. It’s found in a landmark Grade II-Listed building, a stone’s throw from Hyde Park, and a true landmark of Mayfair in every sense of the word. Standing since 1888, it’s a remarkable example of the Great British Public House.
Our scope of works included the refurbishment of the existing ground floor public house, including restoration of the iconic panelling, fit out of a new luxury restaurant on the 1st floor, and the creation of private dining rooms, galleries, and event spaces on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floors. A full commercial kitchen, customer WCs, and staff areas were also installed in the unit’s basement.
We worked in close collaboration with the client’s interior designer, Luis LaPlace, on all parts of the project to ensure a complete and considered end result for the client. Extensive restoration works were carried out to the original timber panelling and pub area, along with the manufacture of new panelling to match.
Now, The Audley has a new lease of life covering not just the pub but the four floors above it – a historic property in the heart of Mayfair that’s ready to ensure an exceptional experience to everyone who enters the Victorian building.
