Flemings Mayfair
The Flemings Hotel is one of the oldest family-owned hotels in London. Having been converted from 13 Georgian townhouses into one of the capital’s finest hospitality properties, it’s a world-class hotel with a world-class execution.
The interiors of Fleming’s Mayfair are inspired by the glamour of the 1930s, a vintage yet contemporary approach to a hotel originally launched in 1851 for the Great Exhibition. The project gave us the chance to highlight the detailed marble floors, an exemplary part of the original features of a stunning, period-accurate approach to interiors.
We were awarded the contract following a single-stage tender process for the total renovation of the existing restaurant and bar. Across the full refurbishment, we also handled 1st and 2nd fix electrical installation, 1st and 2nd fix carpentry, new heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems, the replacement and refurbishment of existing podium roof plant areas and the installation of a new safety walkway.
