Los Mochis

Los Mochis

Los Mochis is an expansive and visually captivating example of how the vibrancy of Mexican culture can meet the elegance of Japanese dining, sewn together on the 9th and 10th floors of 100 Liverpool Street.

From the beginning of the project, we collaborated with the client, leading design-focused workshops, building fluency in taste and execution, and ensuring the level of delivery at every touchpoint.

We worked hand in hand with designers and procurement agents across the world to develop buildable, coordinated solutions for a range of challenging bespoke elements. From hand- painted murals by Jorge Tellaeche to the use of distinctive materials like lava rock, agave fibres, and stone, everything had to evoke the rugged Mexican landscape within a high-end setting.

Timbermark led the production of a number of key components, including the iconic stepped ceiling. It was manufactured off-site in formers, shipped across the Irish Sea, and mounted, installed, and finished on-site. The sloping, perfect curvature wouldn’t have been possible without a modular, off-site approach.

Los Mochis stands as a perfect example of what can be achieved when design intent and construction expertise are aligned from the outset, a venue which is as meticulously delivered as it is stunning.
